Bottle Rocket PDX

BURGER STAND | PORTLAND, OREGON

On a road trip trip back to Seattle, I stopped in Portland to grab a bite at my high school buddy Spencer Bone’s world-famous burger cart, Bottle Rocket. While chowing down on his burger and spicy fish sauce tater tots, I realized he needed some branding as tasty as his food, so I asked him if he’d be interested in putting me to the task. This is what we came up with.

Modern Science Project

CERAMICIST & JEWELER | SEATTLE, WASHINGTON

When my friend Amanda asked me if I was interested in developing a logo for her side hustle, Modern Science Project, I jumped at the chance—It had been a while since I got to flex my feminine side as a designer. Amanda throws ceramics, weaves tapestries, makes earrings, and even stained glass when she can. Below are examples of how she utilizes what we landed on (note that I did not design her booth or any products).

Crossfit Inferno

Crossfit Gym | San Luis Obispo, California

Crossfit Inferno is a gym owned and operated by the world renowned athlete, fire captain, and Crossfit sportscaster, Bill Grundler. For the rebrand of the gym, I attempted to capture the grit and intensity found in it’s programming, name, and proprietor.
